Dismissing VLC Errors in OSX

Go to the Interface section of VLC's preferences, check the "Advanced" flag at the bottom of the window and click the box next to "Be Quiet". Afterwards, save the settings and restart VLC. It won't show any warnings / error messages anymore. If needed, you can still access them in the "Messages" window (the red and yellow lines).
