Things are heating up this summer across the country, and air conditioner-less times and places call for some DIY ingenuity. You've already seen how to build a $30 homemade air conditioner (and upgrade it), but a new DIY air conditioner design has surfaced, this one using a fan and a bucket of cool water like the others, but without tubing. This isn't exactly a beginner's DIY project, but it looks very doable for an experienced do-it-yourselfer.
